San Antonio, TX (May 2, 2022) – An auto accident reported early Sunday morning in Bexar County claimed one woman’s life. At around 1:40 a.m., on May 1, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto wreck on Interstate 10.
Reports from the San Antonio Police Department show that a female pedestrian was walking on the eastbound side of the roadway in the 9700 block of Interstate 10 when she was struck by a vehicle.
The woman suffered severe injuries as a result of the accident. Crews rushed to the scene to render aid to the woman. However, she was pronounced deceased on-site.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
