San Marcos, TX (February 25, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported on Monday evening in the San Marcos area has taken one teen’s life. At around 5 p.m., on February 1, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a traffic-related incident on CM Allen Parkway.
Reports from authorities show that a 16-year-old female was walking on CM Allen Parkway during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a train that was passing through the area.
The teen suffered severe injuries as a result of the accident. Despite emergency crews rushing to the scene to aid the victim, she ended up passing away while on-site.
At this time, the police in San Marcos are investigating the accident.
