San Saba, TX (March 3, 2022) – One woman has lost her life as a result of a crash in the San Saba area on Monday, February 28.
According to reports provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety, a female in her 20s was driving a motor vehicle on US Highway 190. For unknown reasons, her vehicle collided with a semi-truck tractor-trailer. The impact of the crash caused both vehicles to catch on fire.
The woman suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
As police and firefighters worked to re-route traffic, a secondary head-on crash occurred. A total of three people involved in the second crash were injured. The victims were transported to area hospitals for care.
At this time, both incidents are under investigation.
