Schertz, TX (October 13, 2021) – A 16-year-old boy has lost his life following a motor vehicle accident late Tuesday evening, October 12, in the Schertz area.

At around 10 p.m., authorities were requested n-site at a crash on Farm to Market Road 1103.

Reports from local news sources show that a 16-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle on Farm to Market Road 1103 near the area of Interstate 35.

The teen was crossing the access road at the time of the crash.

The teen was severely injured in the accident. Officers responded to the scene and attempted lifesaving measures. However, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway with the Schertz Police Department.
