Tyler, TX – Tony Ellisor Dies After Bicycle Crash on TX-110

Tyler, TX (December 12, 2021) – One person has lost their life following a bicycle accident in Tyler on Thursday evening, December 9. At around 5:50 p.m., authorities were called to the site of a crash on Texas State Highway 110.

Reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety show that 47-year-old Tony Ellisor, of Tyler, Texas, was riding a bicycle on the northbound side of Texas State Highway 110.

For unknown reasons, Ellisor was struck by a northbound 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

Ellisor was rushed to UT Health East Texas Hospital in Tyler with severe injuries. Authorities confirmed that Ellisor succumbed to his injuries after arriving.

The driver of the Chevrolet, 30-year-old Kevin Mann Jr., was not injured in the crash.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
