Wichita Falls, TX – Woman Loses Life in Pedestrian Crash on Southwest Parkway near Fairway Blvd

Wichita Falls, TX (June 25, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Wichita Falls area claimed one person’s life. At around 12:30 a.m., on June 23, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on Southwest Parkway.

Reports from authorities show that a 45-year-old woman was walking in the area of Southwest Parkway and Fairway Boulevard during the early morning hours. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a semi-truck.

The woman was severely injured as a result of the accident. She was rushed to an area hospital where she passed away from her injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
