Willis, TX (March 27, 2022) – A motorcycle accident reported on Saturday evening in the Willis area has claimed one person’s life. At around 5 p.m., on March 26, the Texas Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the scene of a crash on Interstate 45.
Reports provided by DPS show that a motorcyclist was traveling north on US Highway 75. For unknown reasons, the motorcycle collided with a truck, which was traveling south near Shepherd Hill Road. The impact of the crash caused the rider to be ejected onto Interstate 45.
The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
